Three Beautiful Window Things

There’s a rainbow on my desk where the cold sunshine is coming through the window. I cup my hands so I can hold the rainbow.

Three tiny handprints show up in the condensation on the window pane. Proof that 21 month Amelia visited yesterday.

It’s raining leaves and feathers. Actually, only one of each. I see them drift past my window.

  1. What a lovely tranquil poetic picture you have painted. The beginning of a story maybe?

  4. Lovely!

Since grandchildren, all our windows seem to have child-handprints up to the level of a ten-year-old, and I keep meaning to wipe them off..

  5. Inspiration comes in many forms, doesn't it?

We have a full-length mirror on our wardrobe, and it has become a magnet for little mitts.
