Favourite Things

This is today’s message from the Universe. You too can receive one each weekday by going to www.tut.com
“Rainbows and butterflies, cattails and dandelions, waterfalls and rainforests, puppy dogs and dragonflies, sea foam and orcas, sunshine and comets, snowflakes and icicles, wildflowers and Lynne Hackles... Did I think of everything, or what?
Crazy, sexy, cool,
The Universe

And now, Lynne , you get to think of whatever you like... no pressure.

So, here’s mine.

Full moons and twinkling stars, good friends and email, chocolate and dried apricots, cuddles and sunshine, woolly jumpers and spider plants, chocolate and good books.
Oh, and did I mention chocolate?

Now you try.

  1. Laughing dogs and purring cats, chocolate raisins and yorkshire puddings, comfy shoes and soft pillows, rustling leaves and sunshine on water, dandelion clocks and alarm clocks turned off, friends called Lynne and happy children - oops, got carried away there. It's lovely once you start isn't it? xx

    1. That's a lovely list, Teresa. It's something we should perhaps do at least once a week to remind ourselves how good a life we have.

  2. Children laughing and happy families, barbecues sizzling and red wine flowing, cats playing and long grass swaying, books and music, friends and hugs, cosy fires and old movies.
Yes we should definitely do this often Lynne - count our blessings :o) xx

  4. Message from the universe?

Green woods, the scent of lavender - non-synthetic, I do agree about the chocolate, strawberries too, family and friends, people who make you laugh out loud because they're so amazingly funny ... remember Morecambe and Wise?

    1. Yes. Morecambe and Wise. My Dad wanted Bring Me Sunshine played at his funeral. It wasn't allowed. Too frivolous, apparently.
Yes, you get a message from the Universe. It's actually the inspirational speaker/tutor Mike Dooley and his message is a great way to start the day.

  5. Fresh flowers on the windowsill, clean tablecloths, earl grey tea, smiling faces of those we love. Thanks for reminding us how lovely things are. Music as well of course. Like, love is all around. It's on the one show now.

  6. Rainy days and sunny ones, the postman’s red sack, children reading, country pubs, the blackbirds nesting in our hedge – and having the best family in the world.
Thanks, Lynne. It’s nice to remember our favourite things. Rx
